One of my favorite parts about London is the abundance of parks and markets. We stayed near Holland Park, which features the Kyoto Garden – a place where peacocks, squirrels, black birds and pigeons frolic together. I felt like Snow White with all of the woodland creatures around me!
Next was Borough Market, an AMAZING food market we visited twice. We brought home cheeses, sausages and fruits for a light dinner before going to see Wicked at the Apollo Victoria. This was my first time seeing the musical and I loved it! (Note – did you hear about the Apollo Theater on Thursday? The roof collapsed during a production!)
We ate the best fish and chips at Kerbisher and Malt (thanks to the guidance of Anni) and perused antiques at the Portobello Road Market in Notting Hill. I had sensory overload on Regent Street, where I couldn’t handle Primark, and I finally visited all those places I see on Polyvore (Dorothy Perkins, River Island, Miss Selfridge, etc). All I came out with was a bear jumper, which you can see on Instagram today.
